What People are Saying

“Without question the perfect wedding venue... ”

"The house and grounds are beautiful, and literally every photo has an incredible backdrop. Suzy the host was so kind and patient and accommodating, and it was obvious from start to finish that the happy couple were her overriding priority. Being able to have guests staying at the venue took away a lot of the stress of travel and accommodation, and it meant the wedding was more relaxed and less time constrained. Suzy’s recommended vendors for marquee etc were excellent, and the fact that they know the venue well made for smooth and joined-up service. I cannot thank the hosts enough for their amazing hospitality and kindness, the wedding was truly everything we’d hoped for and more. THANK YOU!! "

“...it was everything and more and felt incredibly special...”

"I struggle to know what to write about this incredible place. From start to finish, Suzy and Reddy were so welcoming and warm. They invited us for many visits, gave us lots of ideas and made us feel like family. We had a wonderful wedding here, it was everything and more and felt incredibly special (rather than a venue with a conveyor belt of weddings). Thank you so so much for sharing your beautiful home. We feel incredibly lucky to have had our wedding here."

“We’ll never forget the magical weekend we spent at The Manor of Hurst for my 80th birthday...”

" We celebrated my 80th birthday with our very large family at the Manor of Hurst, and it was everything that we had hoped for and more. Our children and grandchildren loved and made good use of the acres of open space and they especially loved the heated pool. Some of us had planned places to visit over the weekend, but the Friday-evening arrivals decided, “Why go anywhere – it’s so lovely here, let’s stay here all weekend” - so we did. And there was plenty of space for us all to prepare meals in the kitchen and to eat in the beautiful dining room, where we seated 21 people, and on the Sunday we seated 29 outside and enjoyed a barbecue. The house and its surroundings are all just as lovely as the pictures on the website show. We and our family had a wonderful weekend, making happy memories that will last for ever "
