The Manor is a sensational ‘dry hire’ venue for the wedding of your dreams.

About our Weddings

Whether you are looking for a small wedding reception in the house for up to 50 guests or a marquee on the manicured lawns next to the house for up to 350 guests, the Manor is an idyllic setting for an afternoon, evening or weekend of celebrations. For weddings under 150 guests, the house becomes your home with weekend rentals, collecting family and friends together before and after the big day- a weekend you will never forget. Or the house can be your romantic back drop for a marquee for all sizes of weddings. The Manor is not licenced for wedding ceremonies but a blessing is an alternative option, following a legal wedding ceremony with a registrar. Blessings and services on the terrace or under the old yew tree are very special.

Intimate weddings here are ideal- The house can seat 36 for a ceremony inside and wedding breakfast with room for 14 additional guests for the evening.

The house is offered on a dry hire basis, allowing the freedom to create your perfect vision. We offer options with our recommended marquee companies but offer flexibility for you to personalise your reception, from decoration to catering to entertainment, we strive to help make your wedding day exactly what you envision. Intimate receptions in the house start at £4,500. Rentals for up to 150 guests from £5500 for the grounds only to £10,500 for weekend rentals with accommodation. For larger weddings, please enquire.

“We’ll never forget the magical weekend we spent at The Manor of Hurst for my 80th birthday...”

" We celebrated my 80th birthday with our very large family at the Manor of Hurst, and it was everything that we had hoped for and more. Our children and grandchildren loved and made good use of the acres of open space and they especially loved the heated pool. Some of us had planned places to visit over the weekend, but the Friday-evening arrivals decided, “Why go anywhere – it’s so lovely here, let’s stay here all weekend” - so we did. And there was plenty of space for us all to prepare meals in the kitchen and to eat in the beautiful dining room, where we seated 21 people, and on the Sunday we seated 29 outside and enjoyed a barbecue. The house and its surroundings are all just as lovely as the pictures on the website show. We and our family had a wonderful weekend, making happy memories that will last for ever "
